RSS....

Before I actually design the RSS, I do not exactly know what it is all about. I am trying to figure it out by following the steps in the lecture notes. Finally, I realize that this system is so interesting and it is not that hard to master. Actually there are many ways which I can add the feeds to Google Reader. For instance, I can find some websites containing RSS with the Google reader; I can directly click the button and the links will be automatically on my Google Reader; or I can add feeds only by click the “add subscription” and I can paste a feed URL to the blank, I will get it on my reader by clicking “subscribe” button; or I can use Browse in a way that I just need to type the keywords into the blank, and then if I am satisfied with the results, I only have to click “subscribe”, the links will be also transferred onto my reader. By doing this assignment, I think that this technology could be very important and useful for me in the future. For example, by having my own Google Reader, I can collect as much information as possible and keep them on the same page. When I need to use them, I do not need to waste my time on finding the information. It is really easy and convenient to use. If I am going to work in the company in the future, there must be a lot of information around. And once I get some useful research, I can immediately keep them. So I won’t lose them anymore. Also, if my friends or relatives need the same information, I can email to them by the Google reader. Overall speaking, it is a really crucial system for working in the future and I think I have to use it everyday.
